There are four similar species of these birds. The largest species is the Sandhill Crane; animals of this species have short bills, red cap and prefer to inhabit fields. The Little Blue Herons are smaller; they are dark blue-grayish in color with a dark bill and greenish legs. Bird breeders may take photos of birds.
